Members of Parliament show support for the advice sector

To mark Advice Week (12-18 October 2009), a national week dedicated to raising public awareness of the importance of advice, 64 MPs attended an event at the House of Commons to show support for the advice sector.

As well as meeting the national networks for advice, the MPs met with representatives from local advice agencies, and heard about the work they are doing to help their local communities and especially those struggling as a result of the recession.
