This page tells you how to subscribe to the various services provided by CLS Support.
CLS Support is provided as an ASA membership service to:
- ASA members and associate members
- organisations in England and Wales belonging to ASA's member networks.
Organisations that are not ASA members or advice network members in England and Wales can take out a paid subscription to CLS Support.

We offer advice on the Unified civil contract, the Quality Mark and other apsects of LSC Contracting
ASA members and advice network members in England and Wales
If your organisation falls into one of these categories, you can can use our consultancy service and obtain our briefings and our email newsletter, the bulletin without taking out a separate paid subscription.
ASA members and associate members automatically receive copies of briefings in both the Quality Mark and Contracting series.
Advice organisations in England and Wales belonging to our member networks automatically receive briefings from their network. If you have a Legal Aid contract, you should receive one copy of each briefing in the Quality Mark and Contracting series. Otherwise you should receive one copy of each briefing in the Quality Mark series only.
If you have not seen a copy of a briefing, please check whether it is filed somewhere in your office. If not, check with your network that a copy has been sent to your organisation.
If you want more than one paper copy of each briefing, you must take out additional paid subscriptions. Extra copies of individual briefings are available from us at £10 per briefing. Alternatively, we will on request provide you with pdfs of briefings for no additional charge.
Email bulletins are sent to individual email addresses, so you may wish to pass on details of the service to colleagues in your organisation, so that they can subscribe directly.

Other organisations
Organisations that are not ASA members or advice network members in England and Wales can take out a paid subscription to CLS Support. This gives you access to our consultancy service, briefings and Email Bulletins.
For voluntary sector organisations that are not members of ASA the cost is £200 + VAT.
For private practice solicitors and local authorities the cost is £250 + VAT.
The subscription period is one year, but ASA may extend this period at our discretion.
CLSS subscription form
Your subscription entitles you to receive one paper copy of each briefing in the relevant series. If you want more than one copy of each briefing, you must take out additional paid subscriptions. Extra copies of individual briefings are available from us at £10 per briefing. Alternatively, we will on request provide you with pdfs of briefings for no additional charge.
