Are you an Administrator and need to know how the Contract works to do your job effectively? Are you the last line of defence? Does your role help deliver on the Contract? Does your organisation VALUE you?
 

This course, RE-WRITTEN for the 2010 Contract, is essential for any Administrator attached to individuals or teams providing Controlled Work in the Not-for-Profit (NfP) sector. This is the only course of its type within the sector. It has been updated fully and is suitable for those who attended the first, 2009 version.


 
By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Identify all the areas of the Civil Contract that an Administrator could (and should) get involved in
  • Know what caseworkers have to comply with and how you can help
  • Understand the practicalities of the fixed fee regime and the key areas of Contract compliance which an Administrator needs to be familiar with in order to support caseworkers eg fee levels, basic costs information, CW1 completion, outcome codes and reporting - another line of defence against common mistakes that affect quality, performance and income
  • Support caseworkers, ensuring work is claimed and managed properly, that mistakes aren’t being made which might lead to loss of income or dips in performance
  • Apply lots of tips and tricks you will have picked up from working with other Contract Administrators


 
This course is THE once-yearly opportunity for NfP Contract Administrators to come together, share their experience and get up-to-date with what’s happening in the Contracting environment. It gives a full grounding in pertinent Civil Contract requirements, including those within the pending 2010 Contract, and provides Administrators with the knowledge skills and insight to assist them perform their role to its fullest potential
